Easter Saturday we decided to opt out of the local Easter egg hunts. I'm not a fan of the egg "scramble" as kids wait along the sidelines until someone says go and grab all the eggs right in front of them. So we decided to have an actual egg hunt at our house. We are really excited to play in our big backyard this summer so this was a great use for it. We assigned different colors to Sophie and her cousins and I got to hide the eggs in according difficulty. The older girls still finished first, but I think everyone had a fun time trying to find only their eggs.
