Daniel's co-worker gave him a hiking backpack not too long. We were super excited to try it out on all the trails surrounding downtown Boise. Sophie loves riding in it and yells, "Yee-haw!" in her high-pitched squeaky voice. One weekend before we tried it out, we just hiked up Table Rock in Boise. Daniel jogged all over the hills while I meandered at a much slower pace with Sophie half-way up the trail and back. Lots of people hike those trails with their dogs and Sophie absolutely loved petting all the dogs. As we reached the bottom of the hill Sophie declared, "I crwimbed da mountain! I did it! I did it!" She talked about it for days after. She was very proud of her accomplishment.
