About Sophie

Sophie is a bustling toddler/kid now. I absolutely adore her. She's full of sweetness and is very emotional. She gets concerned about the characters on TV (she stressed out to the point of tears when we saw the movie Inside Out) and crying babies. Like each new stage, this is my favorite. We can communicate well for the most part, she's starting to like playing simple games (even if she doesn't play them right). Here are all the funny things our little gal says and does right now (admittedly some have changed over the past few weeks):

  • Moodles=Noodles
  • Hee-bups=Hiccups
  • "Hold you"
  • "I love you!" Sophie, "No, I love you!"
  • Licks her finger and wipes it across your forehead and says "Simba" (from Lion King)
  • Starting to recognize shapes
  • Knows all her numbers to 20, not necessarily in order
  • Still stinks at colors, most everything is green
  • "What are you doing (guys)?" "What happened?"
  • Favorite Foods: Cheetos, hot dogs, grapes
  • Favorite Movie: Lion King
  • Favorite Song: "Take Me to Church" & T Swift's "Bad Blood"
  • If she were to choose her career right now: Zookeeper
  • She likes to clean up her messes
  • She likes ice (my bad)
  • She loves the park and asks to go whenever we pass one. Also, she is obsessed with going outside. Somedays I think we should just build her a tiny house outside.
  • She really likes dogs and puppies and always wants to stop to see them. She likes grandpa's dogs, but only for a little bit before they lick her to death.
  • She loves picking raspberries and peas from grandpa's garden and eats most of them before we get back inside.
  • She's in love with her cousins, Hannah, Bella, and Kira which makes me so happy we moved here.
  • She's 37.5/38 inches tall last we roughly measured.
