**I've been afraid to blog because so much has happened...Here we go!**
My dad has Thursdays and Sundays off of work. We would have done more with him on Thursdays, but that was babysitting day. Then our friends moved to Alaska and we had Thursdays free. For a couple weeks we had some extra fun Grandpa days. One day we went out to breakfast (also escaping while people looked at our house), then to visit Grandma at work. Grandpa got a ticket on the way there which was just too hilarious because he is a lazy driver. Never uses his turn signal and never wears a seatbelt. To top it off, his license had unknowingly expired. We all had a good giggle about his FIRST ticket experience. Then he took Sophie and me to Wahooz Fun Park where we mini golfed (Sophie and I got a combo hole-in-one) and tried the bumper boats. Sophie loved the boats and was pretty disinterested in golf after the first two holes.
Our next fun day we went to the zoo and then out to a fancy lunch at the Village.
Sophie's sticky sucker face
We got to see the giraffes really close, but Sophie refused to look at the camera.
Then I got some really weird crazy faces out of her later at the zoo. My dad's favorite part of the zoo trip was watching Sophie freak out at the butterfly enclosure. She really liked the butterflies until one landed on her leg. She didn't even notice it was there until we pointed it out. Then she almost killed it getting it off her. Her freak out was pretty cute. Then she was done and we had to scurry out of there pretty quick.
